A nice hike up a sandy wash, named after the California barrel cactus.
After the sand we follow a couple of more rocky forks, expect some small boulders.

You can make an easy hike by turning around after 30 minutes and hiking back on the opposite site of the wash.

After the 30 minutes, keep left and follow a more narrow, not well defined and a bit rocky wash.

After a couple of small forks and it's not always clear where the main wash is heading, you will end up at washed away walls where the canyon gets steeper.
At this point hike over the saddle and continue the loop.
Over the saddle is a Jumping Cholla area, so hike with caution.

Eventually you will end up in the return wash, filled with more sand and some larger boulders.

Warning:
This hike may be hard to follow without a GPS.
