Anza-Borrego Desert: Grapevine loop North

Length 4 mile (return) - 2 Hour, 40 minutes (return trip). Moderate.
Elevation 2200 - 3480 feet
Access On Highway 78 mile 74.1, exit Grapevine Canyon. Drive for 2.8 mile up to Angelina Spring Cultural sign. You need some ground clearance.

A nice loop on the North side of the Grapevine canyon.

The wash has sand but you encounter stretches with small boulders.
In a small canyon on the right, cross over to the return canyon.

The return canyon starts out real easy, but later on it gets a lot steeper.
Some larger boulders, but easy to get over and around.
