Nice loop in one of the forks of Glorietta canyon.
Follow the wash road up to the end, right in the "circle" a well hiked trail leads up a small drainage.
Follow it all the way up to a fork, keep left.
The rest is partially cross country and doesn't always follow the canyon/wash.
Over 3 saddles, there it is, the old dirt road, some boulders and from now on a stroll on the steep road downhill.
Where the pipes cross the road, follow the small drainage, with some boulders along the way.
Out of the drainage, basically hike along the hill on the right.
The area has a healthy population of Cholla and other cacti, but not so dense that they pose any problems.
How to get here:
From the Christmas circle, take the S3, shortly after mile 9 turn right.(This is the second road, just past the road that runs next to a small utility building).
Turn right 2 times and just before you cross the main wash, park.
A high clearance car is recommended, but normally the road is suitable for most cars.
