Anza-Borrego Desert: Alcoholic trail

length 7.6 mile - 3 hour 30 minutes (round trip). Easy/Moderate.
Elevation 240 - 1830 feet
Access Sometimes all cars, but mostly high clearance. Check at the visitor center.

The trailhead is marked by a small sign.
Head up the small wash, until you find the trail that heads up to the pass.
The first part goes up rather steeply, but the trail is good.
The pass has some boulders, but the trail is still rather good.

The trail gets fainter and fainter as most hikers turn around at the pass.
The wash gets wider and wider and sometimes a bit sandy.
A good point to turn around is the Rockhouse canyon rd (dirt road).

How to get here:

Follow the Di Gorgio Rd North, the road turns into a dirt road, sometimes a bit sandy.
