Anza-Borrego Desert: No Return Canyon

Rating *****
Length 8.2 mile (return) - 3 Hour, 35 minutes (Round trip). Easy/Moderate.
Elevation 250 - 1050 feet
Access Drive the dirt road into fish creek (take the one to the right) for about 0.4 mile. Any car should be able to make it, or park along the asphalt.

A nice wash, especially in February, March and April. The wash starts out as an easy sandy (firm) wash.
There isn't a clear main wash, so follow any small wash in the right direction.
Later on the wash is filled with more and more small rocks.

As the wash turns left, it narrows a lot.
More rocks and some boulders.

The hike ends at a rock fall impossible to hike any further.

How to get here:

Drive the dirt road into fish creek (take the one to the right) for about 0.4 mile.
Park at a small sandy wash with a sign foot travel only.

If you drive carefully, you should be able to get there by any car.
But "road" conditions vary a lot and there is loose sand out there and rocks.
