A scenic canyon loop.
Expect some small boulders and rocks along the way.
At the starting point you can see both canyons, the return canyon on the left is the rough one.
Hike towards the right canyon, the wash is rather easy to hike in, sand mixed with some small boulders and rocks.
The saddle will be hard to spot without a GPS, it's at a point where the canyon is getting steeper and is filled with boulders.
A short hike up to the saddle and you can see the Torote canyon bowl below.
Hike down into the bowl and hike downhill (left).
The Torote canyon narrows and once down, take the first small canyon left.
A short hike up the small rocky canyon up to the saddle.
On the other side you can see the return canyon wash.
This one has more boulders and some sand.
But going down makes it a lot easier.
There is always a way without any climbing involved.
Along the way you may still find a dead bighorn sheep.
