Anza-Borrego Desert: Alma Wash North Fork Loop

Length 5.6 mile (return) - 2 Hour, 50 minutes (return trip). Moderate.
Elevation 170 - 1000 feet
Access Most cars will be able to get close to the trail head. Take the exit Elephant trees.

A loop for the adventurous hiker.

The wash up to the saddle is mostly rocky with some boulders.
A typical wash in this area.

Without a GPS it will be very hard to find the exact wash.

Up to the saddle is a bit of a climb, down from the saddle is way easier.
More sand and car tracks, some sort of road and an easy stroll back to the car.

How to get here:

Take the exit Elephant trees.
And drive the dirt road.
Any car should be able to get to the parking, at least very close.
