Most cars will be able to get close to the trail head. Take the exit Elephant trees.

Without a GPS it will be very hard to find the exact wash.
Up to the saddle is a bit of a climb, down from the saddle is way easier.
More sand and car tracks, some sort of road and an easy stroll back to the car.

And drive the dirt road.
Any car should be able to get to the parking, at least very close.
