Anza-Borrego Desert: First-Second-Third Crossing

Rating *****
Length 4.2 mile (return) - 2 Hour, 40 minutes (return trip). Easy.
Elevation 1200 - 1020 feet
Access All cars up to first crossing (but check first). Drive into the Coyote canyon (Di Gorgio rd).

A flower hike along Coyote creek.

Generally the creek runs at least up to second crossing or halfway between First and Second.
Once in a while it runs all the way down to Henderson Canyon rd, but that's only for a few days.
The most logical place to start the hike is at First crossing.

The path is easy to follow, just follow the creek, or trees. Waterproof shoes are a plus at times.

Most of the flowers are usually between Second and Third crossing.

How to get here:

Drive into the Coyote canyon (Di Gorgio rd)
On the dirt road up to first crossing you can normally drive any car with some clearance, but not always.

Load the hike in: GPX or KML (Google Earth file) Tip: use the right mouse key and select save.
