Anza-Borrego Desert: Mile 74.9 Loop

Length 3.2 mile (return) - 1 Hour, 35 minutes (return trip). Easy.
Elevation 1650 - 2280 feet
Access All cars, park roadside close to mile 74.9

Start hiking up the small sandy wash, heading south.

At point "Fork 1" the rocky fork seems to be an unlikely candidate.
But it's only a short dry fall and the sand continues.

Over the small saddle, with plenty of sand.
You can see the canyon for the return route below.

Keep going South/West and gradually descend.
The way down is even simpler than is looks from above.

The only small obstacles are some small boulders where the forks connect.

Hike back toward the road.

At point "Tiny canyon" hike North/East up a small canyon and over a saddle.

The wash is sandy with some small rock.
Cross the road and move away form the road and head parallel to it toward the car (East).
