Exit Blair Valley camp ground. The road should be OK for any car if dry. Follow the signs Morteros.

The hike starts at the Morteros.
Hike into the canyon until you reach boulders. Beyond the boulders sand and more boulders.
Take a fork on the right, heading west.
More boulders on the way up, after that some sand and more small boulders on the way up the saddle west of ghost mountain.
Warning:
This looks like a short hike, but the going is slow and the boulders, although not very difficult, are plentiful.
