Anza-Borrego Desert: Arroyo Salado North Fork Mile 36.9

Rating *****
Length 2.3 mile (return) - 1 Hour, 25 minutes (return trip). Easy/Moderate.
Elevation 730 - 950 feet
Access All cars, from the asphalt on Hwy 22, park at Mile 36.9, west of the wash.

A nice hike in narrow canyons, typical hike in the Truckhaven area.

West of the wash, you find a trail leading into the wash below.
Take the wash to the North/West, this is the first accessible canyon wash on the left.
A fall blocks the canyon, go around it on the right side (East).
Explore.
We looped to the west and back towards the car.
Warning:
Watch out when you slide down a fall, that you are able to make it back the same way you came, just in case the canyon is blocked further-on with an even higher fall.
