Anza-Borrego Desert: Culp Valley Springs to Jasper Trail loop

Access Most cars, you need some ground clearance, Follow the Jasper trail and take the first exit on the left.

Culp valley is a great place to hike.
Expect a longer hike with steep terrain and some boulders.
The hike follows washes and visits a couple of springs.
One of the best places to see wild flowers.

A lot of springs contain water most of the year.
We counted 8 springs and one "La Ciega, The Swamp" along the route, but there must be more of them.

How to get here:

From the Jasper trail, most cars, but you need some ground clearance. Follow the Jasper trail, take the first exit on the left and park at the roundabout.
Or all cars from Culp valley. (Signed Old Culp Valley dirt road).
