Anza-Borrego Desert: Dolomite Mine Peak

Length 2.5 mile (return) - 1 Hour, 30 minutes (return trip). Easy/Moderate.
Elevation 1240 - 1850 feet

This hike leads you along a closed off mining site, up to the peak above the mine.
This is one of the easiest peaks in the park, some gravel, this may be a problem going down again.

We did some more exploring and looped back, this will make the hike moderate, some small boulders and steeper terrain.

How to get here:

Take the signed exit at mile 53.3, a pretty good park road for most cars up to the fork.
High clearance up to 400 yards before the mine, you can park roadside there and walk the rest of the way.
4x4 up to point Park or Mine.
