Anza-Borrego Desert: PCT Lost Valley

Rating *****
Length 7.2 mile (return) - 4 Hour (return trip). Easy/Moderate.
Elevation 4850 - 5240 feet
Access Most cars, see below

A hike along the PCT heading south.
The trail is easy and almost level.
At the end we noticed a wash below, so we had to take a look.

It connects to this trail to the north (Combs peak) and this trail to the south.

How to get here:
On the 79 exit close to mile: 45.7, take the the Chihuahua Valley Road (asphalt) and drive for 6.4 mile.
Don't miss the exit in the bend, there is a yellow arrow sign "Lost Valley 10 miles" (see picture), pointing to the road on the right, heading east.
Follow the dirt road, that gets a bit rougher, but should be fine for most cars, up to mile: 4.8.
At that point the PCT (Pacific Crest Trail) crosses the road, park.
