Rating *****
length 6 mile (round trip) - 3 hour, 30 minutes (round trip). Easy/Moderate.
Elevation 900 - 1380 feet
Access Most cars (soft sand), See below.

A scenic hike up Rockhouse canyon, looping back down Four Frogs Canyon.

Point "park" is just beyond the Rockhouse canyon entrance.
Hike north/west towards Rockhouse canyon and follow the canyon wash up.
As the Rockhouse canyon veers off to the right keep on going in a narrow fork (keep left).
This fork is covered with sand and filled with some boulders. The number of boulders and rocks increase towards the saddle overlooking Four Frogs Canyon.
Just out of the wash is the preferred place to hike at this point.

The descent into Four Frogs canyon is easy, next turn left and head down the wash.
In the main Carrizo canyon keep left (north) and head back towards the car.

How to get here:
Take the signed exit Carrizo wash, close to mile 48.5. Drive the wash road for about 2.8 mile, just beyond the unmarked Rockhouse canyon.

Warning:
Generally the wash road is good, with a low amount of small rocks, but once in a while filled with soft sand.
