A loop hike in two forks of the Carrizo canyon.
The forks are generally sandy, the return wash a bit more rocky.
The only slightly moderate part is going up a saddle in rocky terrain.

How to get here:
Take the signed exit Carrizo wash, close to mile 48.5. Drive the wash road for about 1 mile.
Generally the wash road is good, with a low amount of small rocks, but once in a while it's 4x4 only, filled with soft sand.

Alternatively parking for all cars at the Bow Willows Camp ground.
There is a daytime parking fee. ($5 in 2018)
