Elevation 5230 - 5890 feet
Access All car, see below.

The hike starts on a closed dirt road and heads towards Garnet Peak.
Garnet Peak offers a great view of the Anza-Borrego Desert, right below is Storm Canyon, the green area Vallecito.

Head downhill and pick up the PCT heading North.
The PCT joins the S1 at a picnic area and follows an old dirt along with views on Cottonwood Canyon and Salt Creek.

The GPX file contains an alternative route that loops back to the Garnet Peak trail head.
The alternative is a partial off trail route, with a short denser vegetation stretch.

How to get here:
Drive the signed Kwaaymii Road and park at the end of the dead-end road at "Park 1".
"Park" is further south at the signed Garnet Peak trail head.
There should be no parking fee at the Garnet Peak trail head and at the Kwaaymii Point parking.

This is a car or Bike shuttle, by bike park at Kwaaymii point "Park 1" and ride mostly downhill towards point "Park".
