Anza-Borrego Desert: Gravel pit

Elevation 1130 - 1450 feet
Access All cars, Dirt road next to the gravel pit.

A hike along a gravel pit and an area to explore towards marker "Xylorhiza", an unusual place for Orcutt's woody aster, Xylorhiza orcuttii.
There are many easy and more challenging washes and drainages to explore in this area.

The GPX download includes a more difficult route past the dry fall.
