High clearance 4x4 up to point Park, All Cars up to the gate.
A nice walk in the Oriflamme mountains and the upper part of Oriflamme Canyon.
The hike follows dirt roads that seem to be somewhat maintained.
On the return route along Oriflamme Canyon wash and steeply up to complete the loop.
How to get here:
Opposite the Lucky 5 ranch. Open the gate and drive up to point Park.
Warning:
Don't drive in without a high clearance 4x4. You might get further than point "Park" in a car with more than 9 Inch of ground clearance and good traction. Be aware that the road is steep and eroded
It's a long way back in reverse as there are few places to turn around.
The first part of the road is Anza-Borrego Desert, further on BLM.
