Anza-Borrego Desert: 17 Palms West Loop

Length 4.8 mile (return) - 2 Hour (return trip). Easy.
Elevation 420 - 610 feet
Access High clearance only, take the exit Arroyo Salado (Camp). Drive the wash road for about 3.6 Mile, up to the crossing and turn right.

An easy hike close to 17 Palms with nice mud and gravel canyons.
Before 17 Palms Oasis at the parking hike West.

If you can't follow the GPS just explore.

Drive the wash road for about 3.6 Mile, up to the next crossing and turn right.
The road is sand with some gravel, good for a wash road.
You need a high clearance vehicle and 4x4 is safer.
