Anza-Borrego Desert: Blair Valley Mason Valley overlook loop

Rating *****
length 3.3 mile - 2 hour (loop). Easy/Moderate.
Elevation 2540 - 2900 feet
Access Most cars see below.

A great relatively easy loop up to a ridge that overlooks Mason Valley.
Follow the sandy wash, it turns into a more rocky wash at the end.

The canyon right in front is Cottonwood Canyon with Hawi Vallecito and Storm Canyon on the left.
Hike down the return canyon that's slightly rockier and the best place is often on the right side of the wash.

How to get here:
On the S2 mile 22-23, Butterfield Stage Route, Blair Valley.
Take this well maintained dirt road, that's accessible to most cars, except after rain.
