Anza-Borrego Desert: Hellhole Canyon - Flatcat Canyon loop

Length 6 mile (return) - 2 Hour, 30 minutes (return trip). Easy.
Elevation 900 - 1400 feet feet
Access All Cars, all paved. On Montezuma Valley Road, 1 mile up the grade, park in the parking area.

From the Hellhole Canyon parking head North/East and hike along an old dirt road towards Hellhole Canyon (West).
Once in Hellhole Canon wash, head down the wash (East).

The first canyon North is Flatcat Canyon, a very rough canyon with plenty of boulders.
Explore the canyon as far as you like and continue in the Hellhole wash heading North/East.

Close to the Visitor Center pick up the hiking trail Visitor Center <-> Hellhole Canyon.

Hiking time and length, depends on how far you enter Flatcat Canyon.

Alternative parking: Visitor Center.

Fee: Hellhole Canyon and the Visitor Center require a parking pass, pay at the parking.
