Anza-Borrego Desert: The Potrero west loop

length 8.2 mile - 4 hour, 30 minutes (The loop). Easy/Moderate.
Elevation 1550 - 2010 feet
Access All cars park along the S2, close to mile 34, just outside the county park.

This is a loop in a couple of washes of "The Potrero".
Head south on an old barred dirt road.
This part of the hike is strenuous in the soft horse / hiking trail.

Along the way you will encounter a couple of fences, so far as we can tell, it's all public land.
