Once at the east side of the sand dunes, head south.
Eventually crossing the sand dunes once again towards the car.

Without a GPS it's easy to get lost out there and don't run out of water, it can be very hot.

The sand dunes are often surprisingly firm, otherwise loose sand.
Not recommended when high wind is predicted.

The terrain is best described by sand dunes running north and south, with more firm sand on the west side and denser drainages to the east.
Terrain is hilly with drainages, often ending in a deeper depression.
