Follow the Cold Stream trail and take the Cold Spring Trail uphill.
The trail gets wider along what used to be a fire road.
1) You can hike all the way up to Stonewall Fire road and turn right (south) this is the easy route.
2) Or follow the GPS into Stonewall Creek below and follow it for a while, this is the moderate route. This route is cross country (creek, granitic rock) and might be slippery.
Follow the Stonewall Fire road and visit the creek when it's closer to the road.
Turn right (south) along the Upper Green Valley Fire road.
Next turn right on Hill Trail (north) up to Cold Stream Trail.
