This loop goes up Oakzanita Peak.
Go up the wide East Mesa Fire Road.
Turn right on Upper Descanso Creek Trail (hiking).
Follow the trail over the creek and left climbing along the creek.
Turn right on the Oakzanita Trail leading up to the peak.
Head back and turn right on the Oakzanita Trail, next turn left and go down the East Mesa Fire Road.
