The loop follows the slightly rocky and hilly Sunset Trail and loops back along the rather flat (easier) Big Laguna Trail.
Sunset Trail is a forest trail with some good views.
Big Laguna Trail runs along the edge of Big Laguna 'Lake'.
For about 0.1 mile both trails join, running along a pond, that's not Little Laguna Lake.
How to start:
From the north: Leaving the Noble Canyon Trail right from the start, heading south towards the Big Laguna Trail.
From the south: Keep left and take the Sunset Trail.
How to get here:
Free: Park along the S1 at Penny Pines / Noble Canyon trail head (north end of the loop).
Payed: Park along the S1 at Meadows trail head (south end of the loop).
