This loop takes you to a hill on the north side of "The Potrero".
Expect some scrubs along the way, the Prosopis glandulosa torreyana | Honey mesquite are somewhat of an obstacle.
Especially on the way in, the forest for a couple of short stretches is sometimes dense.
Hike along the hill and partially over it. For the most part the hike is pleasantly easy.
Plant life can be abundant in a good year.
Along the way you will encounter a fence, so far as we can tell, it's all county/public land.
