Anza-Borrego Desert: San Ysidro Prospects

Rating *****
Length 3.3 mile (Round trip) - 3 Hour (Round trip). Easy/Moderate.
Elevation 4620 - 5640 feet
Access Some ground clearance, see below.

Continue hiking on the dirt road and as it forks follow the dirt road north.
Over time the "road" is covered with a couple of dead trees and fades more and more.
This is BLM land that borders private property.

Further on the road gets overgrown with shrubs and is more difficult to follow.
We found a couple of prospects/mines.

Warning:
The first part is BLM, shooting is NOT allowed, but we think it happens anyway.
How to get here:

In Ranchita turn in Lead Rd (Dirt road heading North) follow the road as it bends slightly to the right (east) and continues North.
On Landmark Ln (may be unsigned, but is the more obvious route) turn right and at the sign BLM turn left (the other direction is Private Property).
At this point the road gets increasingly more interesting, close to point "Park" there is plenty of parking space.
