A hike following mostly narrow sandy washed close to a bombing range.
Do not wander farther south as you will enter a restricted area.
How to get here:
Drive Split mountain road past the Fish Creek exit, turn left on a park dirt road parallel to a railroad track.
Follow the road up to a bridge, try taking the spur road to the left.
At the bridge keep on following the railroad track, stop just before the bombing range.
The road is good, you need ground clearance and there might be more or less soft sand.
Warning: Do not enter without a 4x4.
