Elevation
1410 - 1870 feet
Access
All cars, along the S2, close to mile 34 roadside, there is also a fee area parking in Vallecito County Park.
From the parking head up the sandy wash.
The wash is indistinct and easy to miss without a GPS.
In and out the hike is easy.
The main wash eventually has some rocky stretches alternated by easy sandy parts.
Turn around whenever you like.
The detour loop is Moderate and heads into what looks like a fault line area. Crushed rock, similar to what you find in Quartz vein.
The wash is actually unnamed, but when you hike from the Morteros at Blair Valley into a wash, you eventually end up in this unnamed wash.
