A loop following a faint and rocky wash.
With great views of the Coyote Canyon and Collins Valley.
On the return the route enters a much larger canyon wash.
Once close to the Coyote canyon, you might be able to cross the creek.
But conditions change almost every year as the creeks keeps on shifting and with it the vegetation.
How to get here:
Drive up Coyote canyon, to the summer closure gate and park, at this point the road gets slightly more interesting, more rocks and a bit rougher. We parked just before third crossing.
Warning: The road past the gate can be good or real bad, third crossing may be only a small creek easy to pass, but may be hard to cross in other years.
