Anza-Borrego Desert: Vallecito Creek below Campbell Grade

Rating *****
length 3.9 mile - 2 hour, 30 minutes (The loop). Easy/Moderate.
Elevation 1290 - 1390 feet
Access All cars close to mile 30.9 take the first asphalt road heading north, park at the end of the asphalt.

This hike takes you along the Vallecito Creek.
There are a couple of old fences, to our knowledge they are all inside the Anza Borrego Desert State Park boundary.
Point "Anza Borrego Border", a fence marks private property to the east.
Follow the creek as long as you want, it gets more and more difficult the further you go.

Warning: This is prime cactus terrain.
