The route follows (dirt) roads, horse trails and cross-country.
We tried to make the return trip as different as possible.
Starting at Point Park, we hiked cross-country and met the wide dirt road.
You can use a dirt road further south, we may include this route soon, which could add about an hour to the hike.
Warning:
We are very close to the Mexican border, there is no fence, no signs.
Your GPS map could be off by a few hundred feet, resulting in an accidental border crossing.
