Hike along old dirt roads and cross-country to a canyon northwest of Salt Creek along springs and seeps.
Return along a spring, an old dirt road, and finally back along a dirt road.
Caution:
According to the map we used, the route is in BLM. The first 300 feet are on private property behind a gate, there are no signs prohibiting entry.
As with all BLM land, target practice may be a concern.
