Anza-Borrego Desert: Lower Rainbow Canyon Wash

length 3.2 mile - 2 hour 10 minutes (Round trip). Easy or Moderate.
Elevation 2100 - 2440 feet
Access Accessible by all Cars from the S2 close to Marker 27. Park at a large parking area on the east side of the road.

Hike down the sandy wash of Rainbow Canyon.
If you stay in the sandy washes and flat areas, the hike is easy.
Going into the rocky canyon and over a dry waterfall makes the hike more moderate.

Warning: This is a hike with many cacti..
