A hike on the PCT north of Warner Springs.

At the gate head north, after about 10 minutes head left on the PCT.
This is one of the most scenic stretches of the PCT close to the Anza Borrego Desert.
The trail is excellent without any obstacles, best hiked in November or April for a day hike.
April is the month when long distance hikers come along this stretch of the PCT.

It connects to this trail to the north and this trail to the south (Warner Springs).

How to get here:
Exit Hwy 79 close to mile 37 on the 9S05 "Indian flats road" also known as Lost valley rd/Lost Creek Rd.
Drive this excellent narrow asphalt road for 4.5 mile and park at a barred dirt road.
